Ivan Di Pietro is Head of Certification Division at the National Cybersecurity Agency.
His current duties are related to the technological scrutiny of ICT assets and, in general, to the activities in the field of cybersecurity certification assigned to the Agency.
Before working as a professional in cybersecurity and cyberthreat intelligence, he spent a decade as a technical officer at Guardia di Finanza (Italian Economic-Financial Police) where he managed the development of IT platforms supporting the operations and promoted capacity building programs in the field of digital forensics.
He has a Ph.D in Artificial Intelligent Systems, a master’s degree in IT Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering and Automation, all from the Technical University of Marche, Ancona.
He also received several certifications in digital forensics, cybersecurity and offensive security from Italian Universities (University of Rome La Sapienza, LUMSA) and well-known training institutions.
