François Rainville – Effenco
Director of Research and Development / Effenco
François Rainville is currently the Director of Research and Development at Effenco. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation from the Superior School of Technology (ETS) in Montreal, François joined Effenco where he continued to concentrate on electronics and embedded software. As Effenco’s first employee, he continued to look further into automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
Through his 13 years with the company, he participated in every innovation project and is now leading the innovation team to democratize data engineering and data science within the organization. His goal as a leader is to demonstrate the true power of data.
François continues to develop his skills by constantly learning about new techniques and technologies within and outside of his industry.
