A historic milestone has been reached in the collaboration between the government of Quebec and the Emilia-Romagna Region with the signing of a five-year multisectoral agreement between Martine Biron, Minister of International Relations, Francophonie, and Women’s Empowerment of Quebec, and the President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini.
This signing follows a bilateral meeting attended by Paola Salomoni, the Minister of Education, University, Research, and Digital Agenda of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
Announced last November in Montreal during the 5th edition of the Canada-Italy Forum on AI, organized by the ICCC, the Emilia-Romagna region, and Art-ER, this agreement builds upon the longstanding cooperative relations between Emilia-Romagna and Quebec.
The agreement aims to explore new collaboration opportunities in innovative sectors of our respective societies, such as climate change and artificial intelligence.
