Canada Excellence Research Chair in Genomic Medicine / McGill University
Vincent Mooser MD is presently the chairholder of the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Genomic Medicine at McGill, and the co-founder and director of the Québec COVID-19 Biobank. Before joining McGill in 2019, he was the Head of the Lab Department at CHUV University hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland, Vice-Dean for Clinical Research at Lausanne University Faculty of Medicine and Biology, a member of the Executive Board of the Swiss Academy for Medical Sciences and the Chairman of the Swiss Biobanking Platform. He joined CHUV in 2011, after a 10-year tenure in GSK in Philadelphia PA, where he was Vice-President in charge of Applied Genetics. He is board certified in internal medicine and originally trained in research in Switzerland, Australia and Dallas TX.
