2023 Winners

On October 24th, 2023, the ICCC honored the recipients of the 18th edition of the Premio Venezia awards during a special ceremony at the Sofitel Montreal. Over 200 distinguished guests from the business, academic, and research communities attended the event.

Mrs. Lolita Guerrera, Vice President of Commercial Financial Services at RBC Royal Bank, served as the Honorary Chair of the evening. The 2023 recipients of the Premio Venezia distinguished themselves in their respective fields, showcasing a remarkable spirit of innovation and expertise. Through their achievements, they have contributed to highlighting the excellence and complementarity between Canada and Italy, transcending the borders of both nations.

Chaired by Paul E. Legault, partner at Miller Thomson, the jury for the 2023 Premio Venezia included: Rosetta Iacono, Director of Growth and Commercial Relations at the Port of Montreal; Anthony Marinelli, Partner at BDO; Mark Anthony Serri, Managing Director of RBC Mid-Market M&A at RBC Royal Bank; and Vito Piazza, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the ICCC.
