Luigi Scarpa de Masellis – Delegation of the European Union to Canada

Luigi Scarpa de Masellis joined the Delegation of the European Union to Canada in 2005. As Senior Advisor in the Trade and Economic Section, he is responsible for contributing to the fulfilment of the Delegation’s mandate as regards EU-Canada cooperation, notably in the fields of science, technology, and innovation; energy and critical minerals; digital; and transport. Mr. Scarpa de Masellis previously held the position of Researcher, Development Cooperation, at The North South-Institute, from 2001 to 2005, and holds a Master of Arts in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa.
