With over 15 years of experience in prominent cultural and philanthropic organizations, Valérie has been at the heart of numerous achievements for various Quebec SMEs and non-profit organizations, thanks to her energy and enthusiasm.
Throughout her career, she has held positions including Production Director and Director of the Events and Shows Department at Productions J, a well-established production house in Quebec. She has contributed to the tours of many Quebec artists, such as Marie-Mai, La Voix, Ludovick Bourgeois, and Emmanuel Bilodeau, as well as several shows featuring francophone artists, including Johnny Hallyday, Michel Sardou, and ZAZ.
Valérie has also distinguished herself through her philanthropic commitment to various socially-focused organizations, notably as the Director of the Events Department for the CHUM Foundation (Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal-CHUM).
In 2020, she joined the team at the Quebec Film and Television Office (BCTQ), where she currently leads the activities of the audiovisual cluster’s secretariat and serves as interim co-director of the Office. In her role, she collaborates to support the economic development of the industry, ensuring it remains competitive and attractive at the local, national, and international levels.
Valérie is also involved in several boards of directors within the Quebec audiovisual industry, including Synthèse Pôle Image Québec and Collège Bois-de-Boulogne, contributing to the promotion and development of the sector.
Valérie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HEC Montreal and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Université Laval.
