Nicola Gatti

Nicola Gatti is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano. He received his PhD in Information Engineering in 2005 and was a Research Fellow from 2006 to 2015. In 2013, he was a Visiting Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA. He is also co-director of the Artificial Intelligence Observatory and is head of the CINI Intelligent Intelligence and Intelligent Systems Laboratory at Politecnico di Milano.
In 2011, the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIxIA) awarded him the prize for the best young Italian researcher in artificial intelligence. He has published more than 100 articles on artificial intelligence and received nearly a million euros for the development of industrial projects.
He is currently Professor of Economics and Computer Science for the Master of Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
