Born in 1983 in Guastalla, she graduated in Modern Literature from the University of Bologna (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) and later obtained a diploma as a multimedia product designer. She has worked in publishing, communication, and web marketing. She taught Italian at the School of Arts and Crafts in Suzzara (Mantova) and in various primary schools. Since 2017, she has been a teacher at the Primary School of Reggiolo.
She began her political activity in 2008. In 2014, she was a candidate for Mayor and was elected as a City Councillor in Reggiolo (Reggio Emilia). Building on her experience in local politics, she now serves in the Regional Government of Emilia-Romagna as Regional Minister for the Digital Agenda, policies for technological innovation, network infrastructure, and digital skills, with the following areas of responsibility:
- Development and innovation of information systems.
- Coordination of the network of telematic services for the system of local autonomies.
- Promotion of the culture of legality and responsible citizenship, and coordination of regional policies for the prevention of organized crime.
- Prevention and reduction of conditions of need and combating poverty and inequalities.
- Solidarity Economy.
She also chairs the interdepartmental coordination of policies and implementation projects in the field of technological innovation.
