Maurizio Sobrero is a Full Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Bologna. He received his PhD in Technology Management and Innovation at MIT (Massachusetts, USA) and currently chairs the Department of Management of the University of Bologna. He is the Senior Advisor for Next Production Revolution at Bologna Business School, where he coordinates the School interdisciplinary programs and events. He served as member of the University of Bologna Executive Committee and chaired the Departments Heads Council.
Between 2012 and 2015 he contributed to found the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Moscow as Distinguished Faculty Fellow for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
He has published 6 books and over 30 articles on the economics and management of innovation and serves in the Editorial Board of the European Management Review and the Journal of Technology Transfer. He has taught in many programs for executives in South America, China and several European countries. He consulted for various companies and institutions and served in the board of different listed and non listed companies.
