Marianne Girard – GHGSat

Dr Marianne Girard is the Data Product Lead at GHGSat. She obtained a bachelor’s and master’s in physics from Laval University in Quebec and a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Geneva in Switzerland. She also participated in the Space Studies Program at the International Space University. She then worked as a research associate at the Center for astrophysics and supercomputing at Swinburne University in Australia, where she was also the Operation coordinator at the control room for the Australian and Keck Telescopes.
Marianne joined GHGSat 2.5 years ago and is currently involved in several projects. This includes projects in artificial intelligence, data processing automation, and the monitoring and mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions.
