Marco Lovera – Professor, Politecnico di Milano

Marco Lovera is a Professor of Automatic Controls at the Politecnico di Milano. He received a PhD in Computer Science and Control Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 1998. After a one-year period in industry he joined the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria of the Politecnico di Milano in 1999.
Since 2015 he is a part of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology at the Politecnico di Milano, where he leads the Aerospace Systems and Control Laboratory (ASCL). His main research interests are: model identification and aerospace applications of advanced systems and control concepts, with specific reference to spacecraft attitude determination and control, rotorcraft modelling and control, small scale autonomous vehicles.
