Marco Bernardi is the Manager of the Research, Innovation and Industrialization Office at Gruppo CAP, the water utility of the Metropolitan City of Milan, Italy. He is leading all the internal activities linked to the implementation of digitalization and circular economy within the water sector.
Marco is an Industrial Chemist with a PhD in Physical Chemistry applied to the Wastewater treatment and an Executive MBA in Technology and Innovation Management. He has several years experience in R&D in the private sector, managing research projects in the field of bio-based chemistry, circular economy and waste management, and co-authored 8 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed international journals, with an H-index of 5, and is co-inventor of 5 patent applications.
