Marc D. Bibeau has been successfully innovating global supply chain solutions and specialized global cargo transportation programs, dedicated to the 3PL, B-to-B, e-commerce and vertical market segments throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South America and North America for over 35 years.
Marc founded Overseas Express Consolidators Inc. in 1984 and is currently President & CEO of OEC Group, where he serves on the Board of Directors for several of the company’s subsidiaries, including CRSA Global Logistics, throughout the global network.
In addition to his executive roles, Marc is on the Board of Directors for the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) where he also served as President from 2009 to 2012. He is a Vice-President (2013 to present) on the Extended Board of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), headquartered in Geneva and a board member for NNR Global Logistics in Asia.
Known for his passionate engagement with customers, carriers and government, Marc is committed to improving processes and bringing together industry stakeholders, to facilitate open dialogue with the goal of maintaining the fluidity of supply chains around the world.
He is actively engaged in industry-leading technology initiatives including AI, visibility and optimization solutions for the healthcare, automotive, retail and manufacturing sectors where he is often called upon by large multinational corporations as a subject matter expert.
Marc is involved in several community-based charities and humanitarian work, one most recently involving drone technology to transport medical and other essential supplies, such as PPE and test kits to the isolated Beausoleil First Nations Community.
OEC Group is one of two federally appointed service providers for PPE in Canada. The company provides fully-integrated transportation and 3PL logistic services as well as IT solutions to global multinational corporations.
