Laura Cutaia is a Researcher at the Italian National Agency for New Technologies Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) with a background in raw materials engineering. Her research topics include Industrial Ecology and Technologies for raw and secondary materials treatment and valorization. She is responsible for the Resources Valorisation Laboratory at ENEA (30 staff members), working on: industrial symbiosis, industrial ecology, circular economy, resource efficiency, LCA, environmental certification schemes, REACH and sustainable and circular industrial areas.
She takes part as expert at the works of European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) and was Coordination Group member (2017-2020). She is President of the UNI CT 057 on Circular Economy and Head of Italian Delegation at ISO TC 323 (Circular Economy).
