Jean-Sébastien Pilon M. Eng., CISM, CISSP. is a Senior Director, Information Security, Desjardins Group.
Graduated from Université de Montréal and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from École Polytechnique, Jean-Sébastien Pilon has been active in the field of information technology for more than 20 years. The beginning of his technology career started by developing several applications as an application architect at Giro, during which he worked for reputable companies, including IBM and Desjardins, gaining experience in exploiting technologies, the management of information security and the valorization of innovation. During the course of 2015, he successfully propelled a project born of collaboration between several Desjardins Business and IT sectors. In December of the same year, Desjardins Lab was launched. Since 2001, he has passionately participated in the sharing of university knowledge by taking on the responsibility of lecturer at HEC Montréal. Co-founder of the certificate program in information security at HEC Montréal, he pursues his academic mission by teaching the architectures of technological systems and the security of information.
