Dr. Pierre Dumouchel – IVADO
Director of Technology Transfer / Ivado
Dr. Pierre Dumouchel, B.Eng. (Université McGill), M.Sc., Ph.D. (INRS-Télécommunications).
Pierre is Director of Technology Transfer at IVADO. Pierre is also Full Professor and ex-Director General at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) of Université du Québec. He is as well the founder of the ETS Master Engineering Program in Information Technology at ETS. Previously, he was vice-president CRIM’s Research and Development from 1999 to 2004 and CRIM’s Scientific Vice-President from 2004 to 2012 and a scientific columnist at Radio-Canada, the French Canadian National Radio.
His research interests are in speech recognition, speaker recognition, emotion detection from speech and well as audiovisual indexation.
