From December 1st to December 15th, 2022, customers from the province of Quebec will be able to taste the wines in the «Prosecco DOC and Prosecco DOC Rosé Resto Weeks» promotion, an initiative proposed by the Consorzio di tutela della Denominazione di Origine Controllata Prosecco to promote the brand and increase awareness of Prosecco DOC among Quebec consumers.

During this period, 20 hand-picked restaurants will offer their customers Prosecco DOC by the glass, as well as through the star cocktail of the Resto Week, « The Authentic Venetian Spritz », in partnership with Select Aperitivo.

Born in the heart of Veneto, Prosecco DOC is the king of taste and is recognized for its great versatility, ideal for exploring new gastronomic horizons. With its sophisticated aromatic profile and well-balanced bittersweet taste, Select soon became the essential ingredient for making the original Venetian Spritz. According to Venetian tradition, the spritz was garnished with a large green olive to create the perfect blend of balance and flavor. It is still served this way today.

Ingredients

• 3 parts Prosecco DOC
• 2 parts Select Aperitivo
• 1 splash of Soda Water
• 1 Green Olive

Preparation

• Directly in a wine glass, put ice.
• Pour in the ingredients.
• Stir with a spoon to make the mixture homogeneous.

Decor

Put a green olive on a pick and put it in the glass.
