Premio Venezia 2012

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada is proud to announce the recipients of the 10^th edition of Premio Venezia, which recognize annually the excellence in partnerships between Italy and Québec in various sectors of activity.

The winners were honored during a special award ceremony which will be held at the Palais de Congrès de Montréal, in front of 200 distinguished guests from the business, academic and research communities.  Mr. Tony Loffreda, Head National Client Group/Québec/Executive Vice President at RBC Royal Bank of Canada was the Honorary President of this evening.

During the deliberation process, the Jury was impressed by the quality, the scope and the innovation which underline the collaborations between both countries. In fact, Québec and Italy share resources and complimentary expertise which can greatly contribute to economic development and growth in Québec, Canada and Italy.

Presided by Paul E. Legault, partner at Miller Thomson Pouliot, the 2012 Premio Venezia jury included : Yves Lafortune, Director North America and Europe, MRIFCE; Annie Raymond, Director, Business development & Taxation, Samson Bélair/Deloitte Touche; Éric Dequenne, Director, Foreign subsidiaries, Investissement Québec; Charles Douville, Vice President, Regional Head, Corporate, Banque HSBC Canada.
