The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada (ICCC) recently returned from its participation in the Canadian Trade Mission to Italy, led by the Honourable Maninder Sidhu, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, held from October 12 to 17, 2025, in Rome and Milan.
This mission brought together over 100 Canadian companies operating in the defence and security, aerospace, infrastructure, clean technology, and energy sectors. Its objective was to strengthen Canada’s position in one of the European Union’s most dynamic and opportunity-rich markets.
The delegation’s program included B2B meetings, market briefings, site visits, and networking events, designed to foster the exploration of new avenues for growth and collaboration across Europe.
As part of the mission, the ICCC co-organized a special networking event in Milan in partnership with other Italian Chambers of Commerce in Canada, and with the support of the Government of Canada, the Embassy of Canada in Rome, and the Consulate General of Canada in Milan. The event created valuable opportunities for Canadian and Italian businesses to build partnerships and explore joint projects in high-potential sectors.
The ICCC’s participation aligns with its ongoing mission to promote excellence and innovation among Canadian and Italian enterprises—fully consistent with the goals of the Canada–Italy Roadmap, which aims to strengthen bilateral relations and advance collaboration in strategic sectors shaping the future.
