Valentina Bugani is currently the Head of Training at IRCCS I.R.S.T. (Istituto Scientifico Romagnolo per lo Studio dei Tumori “Dino Amadori”), a position she has held since 2018.
With over 15 years of experience in internationalization from her previous role at Confindustria Forlì-Cesena, she now leads key initiatives in education and professional development in healthcare.
Valentina is also pursuing a PhD in Pedagogical Sciences at the University of Bologna, focusing on the “Integrated Skills System.” In addition, she holds significant roles within the European Commission’s Health Working Group, including her recent appointment to the Harnessing Talent Platform and her work as Coordinator of the Training Group at Clust-ER Health. Valentina’s research is centered on competency-based approaches, and she has contributed to multiple European forums on talent development in healthcare, presenting innovative models like the Integrated Skills System.
