On March 19–20, at Luiss Hub in Milan, ICCC hosted a workshop titled “From Lab to Market, From Market to Citizens”, bringing together institutional stakeholders, research centers, and industry leaders for a high-level exchange.
The workshop’s theme reflects a core conviction that guides us every day : while innovation often begins locally, its true value is realized through connection, collaboration, and the ability to scale.
In this context, strengthening ties between Canada’s innovation ecosystem—particularly Montreal—and Italian territories represents far more than an opportunity. It is a strategic lever to transform research into tangible solutions that deliver real impact for citizens and businesses.
A special thank you to FEEL for the invitation and for fostering such a high-level platform for dialogue.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the distinguished speakers who contributed their expertise and insights to the workshop: Simone Grassi (Embassy of Canada in Italy), Alessandro Chiarini (BI-REX), Giuseppe Deodati (Fore.AI), Gloria Bertoli (National Biodiversity Future Center), Luca Catti (Emilia-Romagna Region), Cinzia Campanella (FASTWEB + Vodafone), Roberta Russo (Donne 4.0), Ruggiera Sarcina, Ilaria Bortone, and Marco Favia (ICCC).
The road toward the next Canada–Italy Forum on AI in Montréal is underway.
