Montreal and Quebec City will be the venues for the next events of the European Project ‘EAT&THINK PINK CANADA, Say yes to the Best, Eat European Pork’. The return to Quebec coincides with the second year of the European Project aimed at introducing European pork to consumers in the important Canadian province. The focal point is the participation in SIAL MONTREAL scheduled to run from 15 to 17 May at Palais des Congrès at Stand 5611.8.
Other interesting events have also been planned, in a bid to engage operators, chefs and agri-food industries as well as – obviously – consumers. In fact, the project is aimed at publicising and promoting European pork produced in compliance with the EU legislation on agri-food products: regulatory provisions aimed at achieving good breeding practices that respect animal welfare, are based on environmental protection, and are in line with the European “From Farm to Fork” strategy, offering consumers a certified, traced product that meets the needs of a modern and healthy diet.
Thanks to the valuable, pro-active efforts made by the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Montreal, the calendar of events will include:
