IFAB launches the second edition of its Call for Projects, with which the Foundation addresses the worlds of research, innovation and private sector to set up synergies aimed at the implementation of decisive projects for technological, social, environmental and economic development.

The aim of the call for projects is to attract and finance innovative projects to promote, manage and carry out cross-disciplinary and applied research, training and dissemination for reinforcing and establishing the European Hub of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for a new inclusive, sustainable, open and human form of development.

The thematic fields this year are:

• Earth
• Healthcare and medicine,
• Digital twins of complex systems
• New materials.

Projects must be presented online at this link by October 14th 2022 in the form of proof of concept, research and development, applications and solutions partnered with at least one private company. Projects will develop and exploit HPC computational methods, big data analytics and artificial intelligence, cloud- and edge-computing workflow. Projects based on quantum computing methods will also be considered.
