The Food sector rebounds in Italy
The Italian food industry has taking a hit in recent months, however there are signs of recovery as it continues to perform well in foreign markets. The industry will have to continue to rely on health foods, sustainable practices and innovation to get back on track. Exports are forecasted to grow 11% in 2020-2021, with a greater emphasis on organic and minimally-processed foods. Click here (article in Italian).
Italian cosmetics: quality and innovation
Made in Italy cosmetics are synonymous with creativity, quality, innovation and expertise. These values have allowed Italian cosmetics to be among the top three imported cosmetics in Canada, after American and French brands. Italian products meet the demands of Canadian consumers, who typically are more knowledgeable and are willing to spend a little more for sustainable and better quality products.
