Luisa Bocchietto, world-renowned architect, designer and President of the World Design Organization, was the guest of honor at the luncheon conference organized for the 3rd annual Italian Design Day.

More than 125 architects, designers, contractors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders attended the event, and were welcomed by the Ambassador of Italy In Canada, Claudio Taffuri, and the new Consul General of Italy in Montreal, Silvia Costantini.

Highlighting the role architecture and design must have in creating the city of the future, Mrs. Bocchietto’s presentation was followed by a panel discussion with industry stakeholders in Québec, Nathalie Dion, President of the Québec Order of Architects and Jean-François Simard, CEO of Cyclone lighting, and Administrator of the Association des designers industriels du Québec.
