Silvia Rossi leads Clust-ER BUILD in the Emilia-Romagna Region, an association of public and private organizations—including companies, research centers, and training institutions—aimed at supporting the innovation ecosystem in the building and construction sector. The organization develops collaborative research and technology transfer activities in line with the priorities of the Emilia-Romagna Region’s Smart Specialization Strategy (S3).
The vision of Clust-ER BUILD is to become a leader in the construction sector by promoting innovation and sustainability, while creating a collaborative ecosystem that transforms innovative ideas into tangible outcomes, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of construction for the future.
Silvia is a consultant, European project manager, and business developer specializing in new economic models. She is also the author and co-author of several national and international publications, and frequently speaks at conferences as a rapporteur on topics such as sustainability, indoor and outdoor well-being, and environmental design.
In addition to her role at Clust-ER BUILD, Silvia is an active member of the Italian Association of Women Engineers and Architects (AIDIA), reflecting her strong commitment to gender equality. She also coordinates the Environmental Committee of the Bologna Architects’ Association, working to enhance the local territory according to sustainable principles.
