Dr. Sheldon Elman is the founder and chairman Emeritus of Medisys Health Group, Canada’s leading provider of corporate health services and co-founder of Persistence Capital Partners and Esplanade Ventures. They are amongst the largest private equity and venture capital firms in Canada focusing on Healthcare. Dr. Elman, who is still in active medical practice, is board certified and a member of the Canadian College of Family Physicians, as well as YPO-Young Presidents Organization-Gold, CEO- Chief Executives Organization, Le Cercle des Presidents and a past member of the board of the CD Howe Institute. He is very involved in many fundraising efforts for Cancer Research and is on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish General Hospital. Dr. Elman is passionate about the positive impact that digital health is having and will continue to have on the wellbeing of individuals and their families.
