Giacomo Barigazzi
Co-founder and VP of Global Sales / Axyon AI
Giacomo Barigazzi has been the Co-founder and VP of Global Sales at Axyon AI, a startup specialized in developing AI-based software for the financial sector, since 2015. Throughout his career, he has acquired a great deal of experience in the computer software industry. He worked as a researcher at the University of Modena in the Department of Computer Engineering, as a consultant at MSX International in 2009-2010, and as an Industrial Controller at Ognibene Power SpA in 2010-2012. Moreover, he co-founded and worked as a Sales Manager at DM Digital Srl, a software house focusing on using new technologies and applying them to real cases, in 2012-2017.
He has always had a passion for innovation and technology and his academic career reflects that. He has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering from Nebrija University, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Bologna, a Master of Science (MSc) in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of Oklahoma as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the University of Bologna.
With his wealth of knowledge, he hopes to be a pioneer in the field and to revolutionize the financial sector by integrating new technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
