Andrea Saracino is a Researcher at Institute of Informatics and Telematics at the National Research Council of Italy, based in Pisa. His activities focus on security of mobile and distributed systems, with a focus on AI applications for cybersecurity and distributed trust.
He is the coordinator of the European H2020 action SIFIS-Home. He has been involved in the activities of the EU projects C3ISP, CoCo-Cloud, Cybersure and Cybersane. Holds a Ph.D. in Information Engineering and co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed papers on cybersecurity, privacy and access control in mobile and distributed environments. He is the co-chair of the working group on AI & Cybersecurity at the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIxIA).
