He was born on July 10, 1982 in Lecce where he grew up and currently lives with his wife and his two children.
He graduated in Management Engineering at the University of Salento with a specialization in innovation and research programs in the ICT sector. Here, together with other young students, he joined the association La Sveglia and was elected to represent the students in the Teaching Council, the faculty council, the University Board of Directors and the Student Council.
He obtained an independent PhD in “Governance and Political Culture” at the Institute of High Strategic and Political Studies and a Master in “Management and Governance of the Territory” at the University of Salento.
He works as a consultant for the Casarano Technological Hub and for the Institute for the Economy of Salento and takes part, as project worker and project manager, in major national and international projects. He performed for three years as president of “Officine Cantelmo Lecce città universitaria”.
Between 2010 and 2011 it started four university spin-offs in the industrial, aerospace and ICT fields.
His passion for politics led him to a first candidacy for the City Council of Lecce at only 29 in 2012.
Become Councillor for Technological Innovation, Community Policies, Youth Policies, Employment Policies and Vocational Training of the Municipality of Lecce, as well as ANCI coordinator for the Italian Digital Agenda and CIDAC vice-president, Association City of Art and Culture.
In 2016, through the path of the “Primaries of Ideas” he founded the Civic Movement “A new Lecce” that today gathers numerous energies and skills of a social and civil fabric that wants to make politics in a participatory manner.
In 2017 he is a candidate for mayor of the city of Lecce and, following the appearance in the second round with Carlo Salvemini, becomes deputy mayor and Councillor for Public Works, Strategic Planning, School Construction, Sports Construction, Energy Policies, Transparency, Legality and Administrative Organization, Technological Innovation and Digital Agenda.
Back to the vote in 2019, he confirms his position as deputy mayor of the city and the office of Councillor for Public Works, Strategic Planning, Personnel, Digital Agenda, Technological Innovation, Europe and Cooperation.
In March 2020 he applied for the Regional Council of Puglia in the list “CON”, in the district of Lecce and was elected with over 17 thousand preferences.
