After graduating at the \u00a0Universit\u00e0 degli Studi in Palermo, Italy, she pursued an MSc Econ at the London School of Economics and a PhD in Management and Business Administration at Bocconi University. Prior to academia she was a manager with a strategy consulting firm in London and Milan.
