Emad Shihab is Concordia University’s associate vice-president of research, policy, entrepreneurship and impact, providing strategic leadership within the Office of the Vice-President, Research, Innovation and Impact.
A full professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shihab is internationally recognized for his work in software engineering, software quality assurance, data analytics and applied artificial intelligence.Shihab’s achievements include membership in the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, the CS-Can/Info-Can Outstanding Young Computer Science Researcher Prize, and the Mining Software Repositories Ric Holt Early Career Achievement Award.
