St\u00e9phane Gagnon is Associate Professor of Business Technology Management in the Department of Administrative Sciences at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec en Outaouais (UQO).<\/p>\n
Before joining UQO in 2006, he taught at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (2002-2006), Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (1997-2002), McGill University (2000), as well as in a dozen other institutions in 10 countries as a part-time professor.<\/p>\n
In 2001, he obtained a Ph.D. in business administration from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM), specializing in technology management and strategy (1994-2001). He also completed an M.A. in Public Administration from Carleton University (1991-1994) and a B.Soc.Sc. in International Economics and Politics, University of Ottawa (1988-1991).<\/p>\n
His research focuses on digital transformation and big data analytics, applied to the healthcare, energy, and financial services industries, as well as public administration.<\/p>\n
Among various projects, he leads a research network to develop the first BTM Body of Knowledge (BOK).
