We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with the Municipality of Taranto, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, and CTE Taranto—a consortium focused on One Health for the event “Turning Goals into Actions,” taking place on June 14th in Puglia. This G7 Summit satellite event focuses on translating climate goals into concrete and tangible actions.
At a time when the urgency of climate action has never been clearer, this event brings together an exceptional panel of speakers from the international scientific and academic communities. They will discuss and explore best practices, emerging technologies, and the policies needed to drive significant transformation towards a low-carbon economy, highlighting the crucial role of innovation and cooperation in promoting sustainable and resilient solutions for our planet.
The event in Taranto serves as a stepping stone towards the Canada-Italy Forum on AI, taking place from October 28th to 31st in Montreal, with this year’s theme focused on “Nurturing Our Well-Being with AI.”
AI, sustainability, and well-being are intricately intertwined, creating a synergistic relationship that drives a future where technology and environmental health go hand in hand. By leveraging the power of AI, we can develop innovative solutions to some of the most pressing environmental challenges, promote sustainable practices, and enhance the overall well-being of communities and individuals. This holistic approach ensures that technological advancements contribute to a healthier planet and improve the quality of life for all.
Now in its 6th edition, the Canada-Italy Forum on AI is more than just an event; it is an ongoing process designed to facilitate connections and opportunities between innovative ecosystems in Canada and Italy. The forum brings together R&D centers, start-ups, companies, clusters, and institutions from both sides of the ocean, promoting collaboration and growth in the field of artificial intelligence.
