Italy implements its new contact-tracing app
As Italy and Europe prepare to reopen their borders, it’s important to Italy’s has launched its new contact-tracing app called “Immuni” which will first be deployed in the regions of Puglia, Abruzzo, Marche and Liguria. This mobile application allows users to report if they have contracted the virus, and can also notify users if they have come into contact with someone who has contracted the virus. The Italian government has stressed that the effectiveness of the app will depend on the number of citizens who install it on their mobile devices. Click here (article in Italian).
Virtual panel discussion on the Canadian retail industry
On June 9th at 3:00 p.m., Danny Serraglio, VP of Sales at TELUS Business, will host an expert panel discussion featuring guest panelists; Diane J. Brisebois (President and CEO – Retail Council of Canada), Dominik Nowak (Chief Medical Officer, TELUS Health) and Michal Cihra (VP – TELUS Internet of Things & Insights), to discuss the evolution of the retail sector, fears and concerns of retailers, and emerging technological solutions in the sector.
