Gabriele Capuzi, Chief Financial Officer at IDS North America, a multinational company belonging to the IDS Systems Engineering group, operating in the aerospace, radar, drones, software and satcom antenna sectors, joined the program Chamber mentoring for international growth.
“I decided to join, because I love challenges and because I think I can make my professional baggage available to other companies. This initiative of the Chamber of Commerce provides mentors with the opportunity to get involved and demonstrate their professional and personal value. It also gives me the chance to get to know realities or sectors other than the ones I’ve met during my career.I also believe that developing relationships and networks is very important, even for one’s own professional development”
In Italy, Gabriele completed a degree in economics and business, with a thesis on economic development in the Czech Republic and Slovakia after the division. In the United States, he completed a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), with a major in “international business”.
His 19 years of work experience at major multinational corporations, such as General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, UBS as well as knowledge gained in medium-sized companies, has allowed Gabriele to gain a deep understanding in finance, administration & control, eventually allowing him to take on greater responsibilities.
“I have learned about other organizations with different characteristics, both cultural and operational. In addition, I had the opportunity to work with other mentors with significant experience in the corporate world …I have developed an open and solid relationship with the mentee, and I believe it will help them have a more strategic and structured business approach in any type of market. “
The ICCC would like to thank Gabriele Capuzi, for taking part in this important project and helping the Italian companies ALTILIA and MEGALINE in their internationalization process, through his knowledge!
