The ICCC is proud to welcome the esteemed Doctor Wine Daniele Cernilli, renowned Italian wine and food writer, journalist, acclaimed critic and international authority on wine and its remarkable history.
Doctor Wine will be in Montreal on May 24th for the launch of his new book: The Ultimate Guide to Italian Wine 2018. Organized by region, the Guide identifies and reviews “the best and most interesting Italian wineries and wines” found at public tastings both in Italy and abroad.
Daniele Cernilli was one of the founders of Gambero Rosso and for 24 years edited the Gambero Rosso – Slow Food Wine Guide. During his long career, he has tasted, evaluated and classified about 150,000 wines and invented the famous ‘Three Glasses’ classification system. He then created the web magazine “DoctorWine” that has rapidly become one of the landmarks of the wine world.
Doctor Wine will be accompanied in Montreal by several Italian producers presenting wines which are already available at the SAQ or by private import, and some new products.
